You lookin for a whole lotta dog in one package? You should adopt me. They call me a GS/Catahoula but we can't swear that is all I have in me! I am a fancy DIVA PANTS and TOMBOY all rolled into one. I like to prance around and lead the pack, and by pack, I mean my two sisters. I can and will get down and dirty and rumble and tumble with other dogs in the puppy pool. Labradors are often known for being water dogs, but did you know German Shepherd dogs are also water fans as well, sure we are. I am one of three 5/6 month old red sable colored German Shepherd mix girls. I am proudest to say I am the largest of the group, but we are all going ... (Read More)to be large adult dogs when we finish eating all this yum. We were scooped up off the streets of San Antonio TX looking haggard and thin, but the rescue ladies put meat in our bowls and on our bones. I look fantastic now, good enuff for a pawfessional model photo shoot, even got all dolled up with a neck scarf. Toy bones are for chewing, chair legs are a 'no!' Teach me now, so when I get big, you won't be like 'whoa, man, she is too big, and has no manners!', you want to avoid that sort of thing. And I like to play with other dogs, of course, I am a puppy, what puppy doesn't like to play? My favorite dude to play with at rescue camp is Hermes, he is a fancy French dog and he is in love with me, who wouldn't be. I cannot wait to start my new life with you, please adopt me, I know you will love me as much as I will love you. Please teach me any skills you will teach me. I will likely keep growing and be a large dog when I grow up. Adopt me! Gods Dogs rescue saved me in San Antonio and found me a foster home in Olympia WA. I am in Olympia waiting to meet you! I am in foster with other dogs and a cat. I dont know how I do with small dogs but I do fine with dogs my size or a bit bigger and I leave my fosters cat alone! My adoption fee of $450 includes everything, spay, shots, deworming, microchipping, health certificate and travel costs. Blow is a short u tube video of the rescue that saved me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWhJi8uHW-M Please email us at gingerdog@live.com for an easy application to fill out. We will get back with you shortly. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Catahoula in Washington
Catahoula Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Catahoula, or Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog, is an intelligent, loyal, and territorial breed. Catahoulas are affectionate with their own families but intolerant of strangers. Catahoulas need a lot of time and attention from their owners and are best matched with people who have experience training intelligent dogs. A Catahoula that is left alone and ignored may become aggressive or destructive. Early socialization is imperative, especially with children. Catahoulas are very physical and need a lot of exercise. Some can adapt to apartment life while others cannot; the safest bet is a home with a large fenced yard or open land.

lnteresting Catahoula Trivia Low-Cost Washington Spay & Neuter Clinics
Catahoulas only need to be bathed about twice a year. Catahoulas are probably descended from the Nordic Wolfhound. Vikings would have brought Catahoulas' ancestors to the New World hundreds of years before the Spanish arrived. Catahoulas are especially well suited to boar hunting.
