     Thanks to your web site, Beans has a wonderful new home. She took to her new mom and dad right away. We have kept in touch with them and she is settling right in. She has learned to use the doggie door and is behaving well in the house. She is getting along well with her new 'brother'. She is getting lots of love and attention.      Bucky found a wonderful home in Tulsa, OK with a doctor and her children. Bucky has a backyard swimming pool to play in and two young boys to play with. He will have a fenced yard to play in and will spend most of the time in the house as the family pet when he is not in the pool. What a lucky boy! Thanks for all your help.

     Thanks to Rescue Me, my special doggie found a great furever home. Banjo was pulled from a high kill shelter on his last day. I posted him and he found a great home within two weeks. This boy learned to shake, sit and not potty in the house in just 7 days! Amazing how far a little love and patience can go. Thanks so much Rescue Me!

     Keller got an amazing new home thanks to Rescue me ! Someone drove all the way from Utah to Pagosa Springs to get this boy she had no fear of training a deaf dog she was completely committed to him being in her family for the rest of his life, Thank you so much :)

     Thank you, 'Rescue Me!' Last night we had a call from a couple who found our posting of the remaining two Catahoulas we rescued...they were found abandoned near our neighborhood, starving and pitiful. With the care of our local vet they were rehabilitated and readied for adoption. Today we delivered them to their new 'FOREVER HOME,' adopted by a wonderful couple. They now have love and kindness, room to run, plenty of food, the company of other sociable animals, and a wonderful future in store for them! It is wonderful to have this link to other like-minded people concerned about the welfare of animals. This was truly an incredible, gratifying, and hope inspiring experience for us. Now all three of our deserving Catahoulas have been placed in a wonderful situation. Thank you again, Katherine & Richard

     Jasper was being treated by a groomer for his demedex mange & I told her we were advertising his picture & story on this site. Well, she just couldn't stand the fact after working with him for so long that someone else would come & take him away so, SHE ADOPTED HIM HERSELF! He has 10 acres, other dogs to play with & a retired couple that loves him like no other dog they have ever had! Thank you for providing a safe place to advertise for homes for our animals. I am forever grateful! Now hoping my other sweet Catahoula, Hunter finds just as good a home! Thanks from Dawna & Ed Christy!

     Hi Jeff, We have found the perfect dog for our family through your rescue site after searching for several months. I had subscribed to the Catahoula rescue for Georgia and Alabama but found our girl just a few miles from our home! She needed a new family because her previous owner couldn't care for her any more. Now he can come visit her and we have a wonderful addition to our family. Last weekend we took her to North Georgia to introduce her to the mountains. She was really in her element and I think we actually tired her out after running loose in the pasture for hours. Then yesterday we introduced her to the Piedmont Park dog park and she out ran every dog in the park. Catahoulas are just wonderful dogs. This one is a Catahoula/pit bull mix. She's very smart and wants to learn. We're looking forward to many happy years. Thanks again for your website, Betty

     Good afternoon, Jeff, Fortunately, Torre was adopted, and I have this website to thank! I took in Torre as a foster after her previous family lost their house due to foreclosure, and was forced to move into a rental house that did not allow pets. My husband and I already had three indoor pets, so we set a deadline to find Torre a home or take her to animal control and hope for the best, of September 22. Meanwhile, a lady in Ohio had lost her Catahoula after being hit by a car several weeks ago. It was very important to her that she rescue another dog, and she preferred to rescue a Catahoula if she could find one nearby. She found Torre's listing on this website and fell in love. We talked several times on the phone and arranged a meeting yesterday, and it couldn't have gone better. They had an instant connection, and even though we lived six hours apart, I felt it was meant to be. Thanks so much for helping sweet Torre find a home! I know she's in good hands, now.      Jeff, Cheyenne found a wonderful home. The perfect home. I had several inquiries from this site, and luckily for Cheyenne the first contact ended up being the perfect fit. She is now a happy little girl 'running in the wind through the field' of her new 12 acre home. I could not have picked a better couple to be Cheyenne's new parents. We met at a half way point for each of us so they could meet Cheyenne and I could meet them. I was feeling so guilty for giving her up but my heart is full knowing she will be so much happier where she is. I want to thank you for having this site for responsible pet owners to either find homes for those in need or for those looking to give an animal a new start in life.
